Top: Home birth of my fourth baby, Abby. Right: Me with my fifth baby, Maya.

I am a mom of five and I live in Eden, NY with my husband and children. I’m a true crime fan, enjoy spending time outside, and love learning. I do my best to use non-toxic products in my home and on our bodies and I always look for a natural way to deal with health issues before turning to medicine. I believe balance is an important part of enjoying life. I am the second oldest of 5 children and have always had a roll as a care-taker. When I was pregnant for the first time I wanted to learn everything there was to know about pregnancy and birth. It was important to me to be involved in my prenatal care and birth and make my own choices. I continued to research with each pregnancy and birth and I had the honor of being with my sister to support her for the births of my niece and nephew. After my fifth baby we knew our family was complete, but as she grew I realized how much I missed pregnancy and birth. I felt the difference having a doula at three of my births made, and I want to give that experience to others and do what I am passionate about. I've had negative experiences with some of my providers and some really beautiful ones with others, and I've learned from each one how to advocate for myself and my babies. I've given birth twice in hospitals, three times at home, and breastfed for over 13 years. Motherhood is always unique, challenging, and rewarding. I use everything I've learned in my experiences and my professional trainings to support parents in pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My goal is not to tell you what to do, but to guide you with love and respect so you are confident and equipped to make the best choices for your family. I would love to get to know you and learn how I can meet your needs.
